Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Palestine
Sameer Qumsiyeh is a Palestinian filmmaker whose films aim to provide an honest portrayal of humanity. He is working on a new short documentary series called “Voiceless,” which attempts to provide a humane and empowering angle on the lives of underrepresented people in Palestine.
Qumsiyeh received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) and is using the award for his short doc series.
