Rompe

Cultures of Resistance Awardee —Angola
Rompe is an activist collective that aims to support Angolan artists by using art as a tool for political and social transformation. Their current activities include a monthly creative workshop and a weekly transformative conversation where they discuss works at the intersection of art and activism. The workshops and conversations are a way to create community, share skills, and educate young artists.
Rompe received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2022 and is using it to support their programming.
