Donald Trump is pursuing a very dangerous strategy of provocation with Iran—and U.S. allies in the Middle East including Israel and Saudi Arabia are all too happy to see conflict with Iran flourish. It is an extremely scary situation, but we can still hope that cooler heads will prevail and that a full-fledged war can be averted. For this to happen, we need a major public outcry of people calling for the cycle of escalation and retaliation to stop. We encourage everyone to protest for peace! Please take action wherever you can.
Protests are taking place in many countries, with a major international day of action planned for Jan. 25.

“Please act now! Email your Senators and Representative asking them to support diplomacy and de-escalation—NO WAR WITH IRAN. Congress needs to reassert its constitutional authority and demand diplomacy and de-escalation before this crisis explodes into open warfare.
“This is the crisis many have dreaded ever since Trump recklessly ended the Iran Nuclear Deal and began threatening Iran. Please tell your members of Congress to sponsor, cosponsor, and pass an emergency resolution to restrain Trump before it’s too late.”
