Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Lesotho
Mamolefe Petlane is the director of Sesotho Media & Development (SM&D) in Lesotho, an organization which promotes film and development in Lesotho. Once a year, SM&D organizes the Lesotho Film Festival to give a platform to local filmmakers to showcase their talents and works.
Petlane received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) and is using the award to support Sesotho Media & Development’s annual event, Lesotho International Film 2020.
