Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Brazil

Instituto Ninho Social, established in 2017, is a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding the homeless population in São Paulo, Brazil. The Institute offers comprehensive services including social, psychological, and legal assistance, in addition to professional training workshops. The organization’s headquarters is equipped with facilities to provide laundry services, coffee, shelter services, and three locker rooms. This setup underscores the organization’s dedication to serving its target population, emphasizing the importance of hygiene and support.

Instituto Ninho Social received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2024. They used the award for clothing and necessities.
