Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Algeria
Hourria wa Salam, also known as the Saharawi Freedom and Peace Association, is a volunteer-based project run by Saharawis in refugee camps in Algeria. The group organizes enrichment actives for school children, including sports and educational competitions, and provides support to the most vulnerable families in the community. 
Hourria wa Salam received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2022 and is using the award to provide care packages for families in Tindouf, Algeria.
