Giddes Chalamanda is a Malawian musician who was born in 1931 and continues to create music now at 91 years old. Chalamanda recorded his first song in the 1970s and has since released albums and singles. 
Chalamanda received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2022.
