Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Nigeria
Festival Raiz is based on the preservation and enhancement of traditional Mozambican music, and cultural exchange between artists with the goal of boosting this aspect of Mozambican culture. The Festival hopes to give continuity to the traditional Mozambican music made by young people and preserve its standards. 
They work in partnership with the Association of Mozambican Musicians
Festival Raiz received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2022 and used the award money for 2022 festival expenses.
