Pilar Emitxin

Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Argentina
Pilar Emitxin is a feminist activist and visual artist from Córdoba, Argentina. She has been politically active since the age of thirteen, first as a student involved in human rights movements in Córdoba, and then later in feminist and anti-extractivist movements in defense of Indigenous territories. Pilar has created graphic designs for organizations spanning the global South, contributing to campaigns around feminism, environmental justice, migrant rights, and international solidarity. 
Pilar Emitxin received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2024.
