The Elinga Teatro was founded in 1988 and is committed to preserving and promoting Angolan culture through theater. They stage plays about Angolan culture while exploring contemporary and experimental approaches to theater. 
Elinga Teatro received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2023.
