Culture of Resistance Award – Korea
Established in 2006, the Eco-Horizon Institute (EHI) conducts field research on tidal flats and oceans in South Korea and formulates policies regarding the environmental cooperation between South and North Korea. Their goal is to build an ecologically conscious society that values freedom, responsibility, and diversity while promoting peace. Through research and collaboration, they propose practical conservation measures at regional and global levels, striving for a sustainable future. 
EHI received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2023 for their work.
