Osipova is a Russian artist who was born in Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic, and is now based in St. Petersburg. Since the age of 16, she has been creating masks, embroidery, photographs, and mixed-media art inspired by Chuvash matriarchal culture. In October 2021, she presented her first showcase in London and won the Cothinkers Annual Prize. The project investigated her dedication to native Chuvash culture, the discovery of her roots, and the space she has created for a new generation to artistically engage with their heritage.
