Jacqueline Severino is a visual artist and teacher in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. In 2023, Jacqueline received a Cultures of Resistance Award to support her organization The Upcycling Project, where she mentors young girls in impoverished communites on how to make new clothing designs using recycled fabric from donated garments.
