Mohamed Daboul was born in Idlib, Syria in 1998. The Syrian Civil War started in 2011 when he was thirteen. In 2017, Mohamed started taking pictures to document the profound impact of the war in his hometown. Idlib, home to three million people, is one of the last remaining areas in western Syria that the government does not control and is regularly subjected to relentless bombings.
