Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Angola

Cinéfilos & Literatus is a cultural project in Angola that consists of screening films adapted from national and international literary works. Each screening is followed by a conversation about both the the film and the book. Cinéfilos & Literatus screens films free of charge as a commitment to promoting access to culture and education. They also organize Cine Verde which is a program dedicated to screening films that tackle environmental issues. 

Cinéfilos & Literatus received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2023.
