Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Syria
Alwathban Team are a group of Syrian youth trying to practive parkour in Aleppo, Syria. Parkour is a sport where practitioners attempt to get from point A to point B quickly and without assistive equipment, often while performing artistic-gymnastic maneuvers.
Alwathban Team received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2022 and will be using the award to buy gym equipment and make shirts for the team.
