Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Iraq
Moamal Razaq is a photographer and documentary filmmaker from Iraq. He is a member of the Iraqi Photography Society and the Iraqi Photographer Union. Razaq has extensive experience in field documentary and his photos have been featured in Middle East Images and Getty Images. In 2019, his photography work covering recurring dust storms in Iraq caused by climate change was showcased at the International Black and White Exhibition at the Iraqi Culture Ministry of Culture. 
Moamal Razaq received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2023. He used the award for a photography project featuring the Iraqi marshes.
