Cultures of Resistance Awardee — Angola
Escola Lando Marneza was created in Angola by Lando Marneza. She started the school after her children left Angola for Europe in search of better educational opportunities. The school has been operating since 2019 and teaches 76 children from the municipality of Cazenga in Angola. Many of the childern are unable to afford a monthly teaching fee and each family contributes to their child’s education on a sliding scale. The school used this award to buy desks, a water fountain, and a printer. 
Escola Lando Marneza received a Cultures of Resistance Award (CoR Award) in 2022.
